Fiona Rae
I'd like to share with you a biography I summarized about Fiona Rae. She is one of the artists I once got inspired to create art.
She was born in Hong Kong in 1963. Seven years later, Fiona and her family moved to England. Fiona began painting when she was about 10 years old, she won a contest to show her talent off to the public. Her technique involved symbols, shapes, motion marks, and signs of any form. This is why Rae is one of the most creative and skilled young British painters.
Society has named Fiona’s work to be abstract. Abstract art is a form of art that does not represent objects in reality, but instead applies colors, textures, and pictures of any form in a nonfigurative way. Depending on a person’s perspective, it could have a certain meaning. She loves to create her paintings with a lot of hue, or color. Most of Rae’s paintings incorporate many circles, which for most of her paintings would incorporate the focal point. Focal point is an area that draws the most interest to the viewer of the painting or any other form of art. Rae often utilizes the combination of the circles with the contrast of the colors. Therefore, the circles symbolize the disorder of the painting. Rae is one of the most important artists until this day. This is because she knows how to make a composition in a painting with no difficulty.
