One of my hobbies is to find the most interesting art websites. A couple of days I go, I came across a terrific website for fonts: The League Of Moveable Type. This website has been created for people who are interested in typography. You can download the fonts of your liking. I have selected a few and I incorporated it with my fancy art projects. I hope you do too!
My understanding of typography is that it’s the art or look of words. In the art world, typography is a part of visual communication. Most artists like, Emily McVarnish, liked to incorporate typography in their artwork.

McVarnish did a lot of printmaking with typography. She experimented with how words looked and the different colors she could play around with in the prints. She also worked with platemaking, which allowed her to broaden her creative expression using different objects. The image below, Felicity, is an example of the way the artist has used typography to make her art stand out and appeal to the audience. I admire this piece since it is somewhat the type of art I would like to create in the future.
