Andy Goldsworthy
About a year ago, I had studied Andy Goldsworhty for an environmental class. You might be asking yourself why I would be studying art in a science/biology class. The answer to that is simply Andy Goldsworthy's art style. The way it works is; he finds something incredibly simple and makes a composition out of it. What is a composition? It is "the organization or grouping of the different parts of a work of art so as to achieve a unified whole" (Dictionary.com). What that means is that any product that is put together in a different way. It could be seen differently than it appears. To make it even more simple to understand; it is a collaboration of different factors. Goldsworthy is famous for putting natural things together. To arrange them in a way that it is appealing to society, or to him. I created a piece that could capture nature and get inspired by some of Goldsworthy famous work.
